ENGINEERING POSSIBILITY

Welcome to the HQ for the Chargers,
FRC Team 4189!

We are a dedicated group of students passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through our participation in FIRST Robotics, we design, build, and program competitive robots while developing critical skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation.

Our team competes annually in the FIRST Robotics Competition, where we face exciting engineering challenges alongside teams from around the world. Whether you’re interested in mechanical design, electrical systems, programming, or team outreach, the Chargers offer opportunities for students of all skill levels to learn, grow, and make lasting friendships.

The Chargers were founded in 2013 with a vision to inspire local students to pursue careers in STEM fields. Since our inception, we’ve grown from a small group of enthusiastic students into a competitive team that consistently demonstrates excellence both on and off the field. Our team values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Over the years, we’ve competed in numerous regional competitions and have earned recognition for our innovative robot designs and community outreach efforts. Our alumni have gone on to study engineering, computer science, and related fields at top universities, with many crediting their FIRST experience as the catalyst for their career paths.
